Krabi goat city strategies

Krabi Goat City is the fully integrated developing strategy of Krabi Goat City supply and value chain that composed of 8 substrategies including; the upstream policy 6 strategies; the midstream 1 strategy; and the end of stream 1 strategy; High potential and sustainable markets under the supports of the government, academic institues and private organization to promotion the Krabi goat city policy to reach the achievement both of economic and social goals; The economic goal is to have income from goat production and its related around 10% of GPP (10 thousands million bahts per year) in next ten year that will help to solution the low prices of the fresh palm oil fruits and rubber products crisis. And the social goal is to decrease the gap of income between the farmers and the elites group or the Thai Buddist and Muslim population that can improve the life qualities of theirs. And the most sigfinicant reason is to promote the goat milk for the students insteading the dairy cow milk. The most sigfinicant strategy is to used the market demand to be the condition of the goat production (supply); Krabi province has the 3 high potential markets; including; the internal province (cultural market that needs the nativebred goats) and the second is the neighbours tourism provinces, Phuket and Phanga. The finally is to export to both general and Halal markets in ASEAN, China and the Midwest country such as Qatar.ETC...
